About Jackson’s Yard Landscape and Trees LLC

Kekaha gets one of the longest evenings on Kauai: the sun takes its time going down past the beach road, and for half an hour the whole town turns gold. Jackson's Yard Landscape and Trees LLC likes to have the last property buttoned up before that — mowed level, edges cut along the drive, hedges shaped, kiawe litter and loose grass raked out of the beds and hauled away. Lawns here contend with salt air and blown sand, and the ones that look good look good because somebody stays after them week to week. The route covers Kekaha and the towns down the coast, where the same wind and the same sun make the same demands of every yard. A finished lawn at that hour, with the light coming in low across it, is reason enough for the work.
