About Rooted Tree Care LLC

Keaʻau sits where the roads split, one way to Hilo and one down through Puna, with macadamia orchards on one side, papaya rows on the other, and rain that shows up most afternoons as if it keeps an appointment. Rooted Tree Care LLC works these lots carved out of ʻōhiʻa forest, where growth never really pauses and a small tree becomes a large problem inside a couple of wet years. Pruning shapes and lightens, taking out the deadwood and the crossing limbs before the wind finds them first. A removal near a house on this ground is a rigging job, dismantled from the top with every piece set down exactly where it belongs. After a storm sweeps through Kurtistown or Orchidland, the driveway gets opened first and the raking follows right behind it.
