About Ashley's Tractor & Hauling (AT&H LLC)

Puna rain does not knock. It arrives all at once across the ohia, drums on the roofs of Keaau for twenty minutes, and leaves the whole district steaming by nine. Grass takes that as an invitation, so by the time the mowers come off the trailer the lawns have already had their week of growing. Ashley's Tractor & Hauling works the yards between the old plantation town and the papaya rows out toward Kurtistown — mowing, running the trimmer down the fence lines, and loading every armful of cut grass out so nothing sits sweating in the heat. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass, when the cut lines run straight to the property edge and the driveway is swept back to bare cinder. What the truck hauls away matters as much as what it leaves behind.
