About kohala tree service LLC

Kohala Mountain Road climbs out of town past fence lines and cattle, with eucalyptus planted in long windrows that roar when the afternoon wind comes up. kohala tree service LLC works those pastures and the house lots below them, from Kapaʻau out along the Akoni Pule Highway toward Niuliʻi. Trimming up here means giving a tree less to fight — a thinned crown, weight taken off the leaning side, clearance won back above a roof. Removals go in stages, lowered rather than felled whenever a fence, a water tank or a lane sits in the way. When the mist turns into a real blow and a windrow drops a limb across the drive, the crew cuts it out and takes the wood with them.
