Gromer Yard Care

About Gromer Yard Care

January in the Kawaihau backroads above Kapaa is a wet month, the kind where a lawn puts on a week of growth in three days and the shoulder of the road turns to soft mud. Gromer Yard Care plans around it, moving visits to the hours between showers and mowing at a height the ground can take without tearing. Edging, string trimming and hedge trimming follow, then the clippings get loaded out rather than left to mat down in the damp. Come the drier stretch the pace eases and the cuts get finer, but the order of the work stays the same. There is real satisfaction in pulling out of a driveway that was shaggy an hour ago and now sits square and open to the light.
