About Starfarm Conservation Inc

On a clear night in He'eia the bay goes black and flat, Mokoli'i sits offshore like a paper cut-out, and the only sound is water working against the fishpond wall. Starfarm Conservation Inc takes the Kāne'ohe yards along that shore in daylight — mowing, clearing brush and weeds, trimming hedges, and hauling green waste off instead of letting it mound up. Ground this close to the water grows hard and quick, and a lot left alone through one wet stretch will hide its own fence. Clearing it back is honest work with an immediate result: open space where there was tangle. By the time the boats come in at He'eia Kea, the yard is breathing again.
