About Aloha trees and rockwall services LLC

North Kona is stitched together with stone — dry-stacked pōhaku walls running along the old roads, shoulder-high in places, older than the fences beside them. Aloha trees and rockwall services LLC keeps the lawns that live inside those lines, from the grass verge at the gate to the tight corners where turf meets lava. Mowing, edging, trimming and hauling the green waste off: plain work, done to a line you can see. In Kaiminani the ground gives you a foot of soil and then says no, so a lawn here is something a person earns rather than inherits. The crew leaves the wall face clear and the grass line straight against it, which is the whole pleasure of the job.
