About Ko'olau Landscaping LLC

After a winter night of Kona rain, the Koʻolau wall behind town fills with thin white waterfalls that are gone again by the weekend. Koʻolau Landscaping LLC takes its name from that ridge and works beneath it, mowing, edging, trimming hedges and clearing yards for houses along the windward flats. Wet months push growth hard — grass, hedge and weed all at once — so the job becomes a matter of returning steadily rather than fighting a jungle once a season. There is a particular satisfaction in a hedge squared off with the green cliffs standing behind it. When the clouds lift off the summit in late morning, a yard cut that same day looks like it belongs to the mountain.
