About Southern Turf Hawaii

Drive the highway across the lava plain north of town and green is the rare color; every lawn out there is something somebody made. Southern Turf Hawaii looks after the turf side of that — mowing, edging, trimming the perimeters, feeding and weeding the grass, carrying off whatever comes up and comes down. Kona sun is relentless on an open lot, and a lawn holds its color only if someone is paying attention week to week. Bringing a whole yard to one even height, with borders that read like a drawn line, is the plain pleasure of the trade. The black rock alongside only makes the green look greener.
