About Joe Roderick Hawaiian Landscapes, Inc.

Kahaluu Bay fills with snorkelers by nine, and the yards along that stretch of coast wake up not much earlier. Joe Roderick Hawaiian Landscapes moves through them in the monkeypod shade — mowing, edging, cutting hedges and shrubs back, sweeping the pavers, loading up what came off. Salt, sun and a little afternoon rain make Kona grass grow in bursts, so timing matters more than muscle. A lawn cut on the right week looks effortless, and keeping that illusion intact is the job. It is a good way to spend a morning on this coast.
