About Bir-Landscaping

Upslope from town the air changes. Bir-Landscaping works the belt where the coffee farms begin, where the mauka clouds gather by early afternoon and the grass grows faster for it. Mowing, edging the fence lines, cutting hedges back into shape, gathering the trimmings and taking them down the hill again — the work is steady because the rain here is steady. There is a particular satisfaction in mowing a hillside so it reads flat, every pass true across ground that wants to tilt it. Come down Mamalahoa in the late light and you can pick out the yards that were cut this week.
