About H&K Maintenance

Late in the day, when the ball fields out at Keopuolani Park fill with shouting and the light over the plain goes soft and gold, Kahului looks its best from the grass up. H&K Maintenance spends its hours down in that grass — mowing on a set rotation, edging the concrete back to a true line, running the trimmer where the mailbox post and the rock border complicate things. Nothing gets left in the gutter; the drive and the walk get blown down before the truck moves on. A lawn on this flat central ground grows nearly year round, so the real work is showing up and cutting it before it ever gets away from you. Come evening the yard sits tidy and level, which is exactly the point.
