About Southern Acres Landscapes & Outdoor Management

A freeze that follows rain is how a wet Tuesday becomes a sheet of black ice by Wednesday's first light. Southern Acres Landscapes & Outdoor Management runs the farm lanes and long gravel approaches on its route, plowing what has fallen and treating the low spots where water stood and then hardened. A drive can run a quarter mile between the gate and the house, and the whole of it has to be passable before anyone leaves for work. Business lots and entrances get the same attention — cleared wide, salted at the corners, checked again when the shade comes back around. Their winter work covers every stop on the route and the roads between.
