About Kahua's Lawn Services

Kahua means the ground you build on, and in Pālolo the ground lies flat and green, shaded by the valley walls until mid-morning. Kahua's Lawn Services works that cool window — mower first, then the trimmer along the low rock walls and around the papaya, then the blower to send the cuttings off the walk. Showers slide down from the back of the valley often enough that the grass runs ahead of everybody, so visits stay on a rhythm instead of waiting for someone to complain. Weeds come out of the beds while the soil is still soft from the last one. What is left is a yard sitting level and even, the way the valley floor does.
