About Hawaii Harmony Gardens Landscaping

In summer the shower trees along the Makiki streets drop pink and gold until the sidewalk looks strewn on purpose, and above them the Tantalus road winds up into the cool. Hawaii Harmony Gardens Landscaping tends the yards below — mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, weeding the beds, and taking the yard waste out on the way. Evening suits the work: heat going out of the air, plumeria carrying down the block, the last pass of the mower audible three houses away. Grass under Honolulu's town canopy grows thin in shade and rank in sun, and steady upkeep is what evens the two out. What results is a small, well-kept green place on a street that has many — and it stays that way because somebody keeps coming back to it.
