About Hapa Landscaping LLC

Hoʻoilo brings the long rains into Nuʻuanu, cloud stacked against the Pali and the valley staying wet for days on end. Everything answers by growing, which is where Hapa Landscaping LLC comes in: mowing between showers, string trimming the wet corners, cutting hedges back off the fence, weeding, and carrying green waste away instead of letting it mat down. A rain-season yard in Honolulu can get ahead of a household inside a week, and the fix is simply regular visits and a mower that keeps its date. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut clean under gray sky — edge sharp, walk cleared, the wet clippings gone. Then the sun finds the notch in the mountains and the whole valley lights up on it.
