DB YARD SERVICES

About DB YARD SERVICES

By late afternoon the shadow of Lēʻahi leans out across Kapahulu, and the banyans along Kapiʻolani Park turn from green to something closer to ink. DB YARD SERVICES keeps the small, deep lots at this end of town in order — mowing, edging where the grass wants to creep over the sidewalk, cutting back hedges before they swallow a gate, and clearing the trimmings so the yard is usable again. These are old streets with old plantings, and the work is as much about giving a yard back its shape as it is about the height of the grass. One last blow-down along the walk, and a place that felt overgrown at noon feels open by dinner. That turn is the good part of the job.
