In winter the rain builds over the West Maui summit and slides down the gulches toward the coast, and Honokowai greens up overnight. Surf & Turf Landscapes plans around that — mowing between the squalls, trimming once the ground firms, staying ahead of the growth instead of chasing it. Late in the day, with Lānaʻi turning gold offshore and the light going long across Kahana and Napili, a freshly cut yard holds its color better than anything else on the block. Every lot here sits somewhere between the mountain and the sea, and the work is simply to make that stretch of ground look tended: even turf, sharp borders, walkways and beds swept clean.
