About Kali Kai Landscaping

In Hilo the rain keeps its own appointments, sliding in off the bay most afternoons and leaving every lawn a shade greener than it was at lunch. Kali Kai Landscaping works with that generous weather instead of fighting it, mowing and trimming between showers so a yard never races ahead of the people who live beside it. Mist lifts from the Wailuku River, Mauna Kea slips in and out of the clouds, and in the clear spell after a downpour a newly mown yard smells like the whole wet town. The satisfaction is in a clean line along the walk and planting beds that look looked-after rather than wrestled into place. On streets where everything seems to grow overnight, a tidy yard is a small daily triumph.
