About Green Acres Lawn Care LLC

North of Hilo the highway threads the old mill bridges at Pepeʻekeo and Hakalau, the ocean dropping away on one side and the cane land climbing on the other. Green Acres Lawn Care LLC mows, edges and cleans up the yards along that coast, keeping grass down and boundaries honest between one downpour and the next. On a rare clear winter morning Mauna Kea shows white above all that green, which is the sort of thing that makes a person stop the truck for a minute. Then the mower comes off the trailer and the day gets on with itself. Lines cut, edges trimmed, cuttings hauled — a yard handed back looking like somebody meant it.
