About Paradise Tree Service LLC

The avenues of Hawaiian Paradise Park run arrow-straight down the old lava toward the sea cliffs, and the rain walks along them most days of the year. Paradise Tree Service LLC works those long lots where albizia grows fast and hollow and leans a little further each wet season, taking a whole tree down in measured pieces once it has outgrown the ground it stands on. Trimming out here is a question of weight and wind — thinning a canopy so a gust off the water passes through it instead of pushing it over. Pruning keeps mango and ohia shaped back from roof lines and service drops on lots where the shoulder is narrow and the ground is rock. After a night of hard wind, the crew clears what came down across driveways and fence lines through Pahoa, Keaau and Orchidland, hauling the mess out so the morning looks ordinary again.
