Kauai Lawn Care

About Kauai Lawn Care

Eleele sits on the bluff above the Hanapepe River with red dirt underfoot, Port Allen harbor below, and the mountains inland keeping most of the rain to themselves. Kauai Lawn Care mows, edges and trims the yards along that dry south stretch, where a lawn is a deliberate green in a country of ochre and blue. The trades come up the coast by mid-morning and bring the dust with them, so a cleanup here means actually emptying the yard: leaf drop, prunings and cut material, all of it off the property. Grass out this way grows in a burst after a passing shower and then holds, and the cutting schedule follows that rather than the calendar. Late in the day the light comes sideways off the water at Salt Pond and lands across a freshly cut yard, and the whole place looks the way it was meant to.
