About Kolea Lawn & Yard Services LLC

Every August the kolea come back from the north and take up their old posts on Oahu lawns, one bird to a yard, standing still as ornaments until they suddenly aren't. Kolea Lawn & Yard Services LLC works the same East Honolulu blocks with that kind of steadiness: mowing on a schedule, edging the concrete clean, keeping shrubs off the windows and walkways. On the Kuliouou side a single lot can run from ridge shade to full sun, so cut height gets set for the yard in front of you rather than the calendar. Cleanups take out the leaf litter and cut material entirely, so nothing sits at the curb waiting for a week to end. A lawn kept that way is the kind a plover would choose: open, even, and easy to walk.
