West of Zebulon the ground falls off toward the Flint, and those river bottoms hold a coolness the uplands never get in August. LNL Outdoor Services runs the last stops of the day out that way, mowing while the light goes amber and the heat finally lets go its grip. Trimming, edging along the drive, and blowing the walks clear are what turn a cut lawn into a finished one. Fall brings the leaf work, spring brings everything at once, and the mowing runs long in between. A yard kept on schedule doesn't ask for much — it just needs somebody who keeps coming back.
