Come October the ridges above Young Harris turn — Brasstown Bald first, then the whole line of them down toward Bell Mountain — and the yards below fill with everything the hardwoods drop. Johnsons Lawns and Landscapes moves with that turning: last mowings kept even and tight, then leaf cleanup week after week until a lawn shows its own color again. The rest of the year it is the steady work — mowing, trimming, edging along walks and gravel, and blowing the clippings clear.
