Allatoona Turf

About Allatoona Turf

West of town the Little River opens out into Lake Allatoona, and on a June Saturday the boat trailers start rolling past the neighborhoods before the heat has settled in. Allatoona Turf keeps those yards ready for the season — mowed, edged, trimmed tight around mailboxes and fence posts, hard surfaces blown clean. Lake-country lots grow in a hurry once the humidity arrives, so the schedule matters more than the horsepower. There is a plain pleasure in pulling away from a property that looks finished, the turf even from the road to the water side. Woodstock summers are long and loud, and a well-kept lawn is where a family actually spends them.
