The Satilla runs dark and slow past Woodbine, the tide pushing brown water back upstream twice a day the way it always has. Faith Works Lawncare mows, trims and edges the yards along those bluff roads and in the neighborhoods set behind them. Down here the grass never fully quits — a mild January still asks for a cut now and then — so the season runs long and the route keeps going. Beds get weeded and mulched, shrubs get shaped, and clippings come off the drive rather than washing into the ditch. Late in the day, with low light over the marsh, a freshly cut yard is about as fine a sight as this coast offers.
