Allen's Tree Service

About Allen's Tree Service

Woodbine sits on the tidal bend of the Satilla, where the river runs the color of sweet tea and live oaks lean out over the bluff with the moss hanging still at evening. Allen's Tree Service works Camden County from the riverfront streets out to the pine roads — taking down trees that have gone hollow or grown too near a roof, trimming limbs back off the house, pruning old oaks so their weight sits where it ought to. Removal under a canopy like this is slow, roped work, and the trees that stay are as much of the job as the one coming out. When a coastal storm pushes through and leaves a drive buried, the crew opens it up and carries every bit of the load away. What is left is a yard the tide light can get back into.
