About markandsonslawncare.com

Morning in Winston comes on slowly, fog lifting off the Dog River bottoms while the red clay is still cool underfoot. This is lawn care worked across the rolling ground of Douglas County, where a yard can run flat by the road and then fall away into pine shade before you reach the back fence. Mowing, edging and trimming here mean reading the slope first — cutting the bermuda close where the sun sits all day, easing off under the hardwoods where the grass comes in thin. There is real satisfaction in the last pass, when the drive is blown down and the lines run straight up toward the house. Fall sends the sweetgum and oak leaves down in weeks-long waves, and hauling them off is its own kind of pleasure.
