About GrassRoots Turf

Turf takes a beating in this county — ball fields, backyards, and that strip between the sidewalk and the street where every kid on the block cuts the corner. GrassRoots Turf treats it as the living thing it is: fertilization on a schedule, weed and pest control, aeration to open up compacted Georgia ground, mowing at a height that keeps the stand thick. Do that and a lawn crowds out most of its own problems without much help from anybody. Healthy turf in late May has a particular look, dark and dense and springy underfoot, and that is the target. Winder supplies the heat and the rain; the rest is management.
