Nelson's Lawn Care & Landscaping

About Nelson's Lawn Care & Landscaping

There is a week in October when the Wilmington River goes flat and gold toward evening, the marsh turns straw-colored, and every yard on the island seems to exhale after the summer. Nelson's Lawn Care & Landscaping works the whole arc of the year around that: weekly mowing, edging and string trimming, shrub and hedge shaping, bed care, and cleanups when the season turns over. Island lawns take a beating from sun, salt and storm, and steady hands do more good out here than heroic ones. Coming back to the same yards week after week is how a place finds its shape — a little straighter each visit, a little more itself. By the time the truck pulls off, the borders are held and the walk is clear.
