Holton's Lawn Care & Pine Straw

About Holton's Lawn Care & Pine Straw

Fall in Bartow County comes on slowly: the mowing stretches to every other week, the leaves begin letting go, and the light goes gold by four in the afternoon. Holton's Lawn Care & Pine Straw runs that season out around White — cutting while there is still growth, trimming fence lines, edging walks and drives, moving the drop off the concrete before it mats down. Down toward the Etowah, the old red banks along the roadside turn the color of new brick in that hour. A yard finished clean in November keeps its shape the whole way to spring. White, Kingston, Emerson and the roads toward Cartersville make the loop.
