About Southern Grounds Landscaping

Come April everything in Athens goes briefly yellow, pine pollen on the windshields, on the porch rails, drifting across the surface of Sandy Creek. Southern Grounds Landscaping works straight through that stretch and every other one, mowing on rotation, edging beds and walks, clearing pine straw and clippings so a yard reads clean instead of cluttered. Piedmont ground grows grass in a hurry once the warmth arrives, and the difference between a lawn that looks tended and one that does not is mostly a matter of turning up. They turn up. By late fall they are pulling leaves out of the same yards they cut all summer, closing the year the way they opened it.
