Come July the crape myrtles along Russell Parkway are in full color and the afternoons are pure Georgia — thick air, sun with weight in it, thunder somewhere south by five. BD Lawn Service llc runs its Friday route through all of that, mowing, edging and trimming so the weekend opens with a yard already finished. Beds get weeded, hedges get squared, and the clippings never stay on the concrete. In cooler months the work shifts to cleanups, leaf hauling, and cutting back whatever summer let get away.
