Early on, before the light reaches the old depot roofline downtown, Villa Rica is mostly birds and the first trucks rolling up Main. Brandon's Lawn Service is out in that hour — mowing, edging along the walk, trimming close to mailbox posts and fence corners, blowing the drive clean before anybody's coffee has gone cold. Summer arrives humid here and stays that way, so the early start is half the craft. By the time the sun is properly up, a yard is finished and the cut lines are still holding dew. Nothing complicated about any of it — just a lawn somebody is glad to pull into at the end of the day.
