Oasis Services

About Oasis Services

August in south Georgia is a test — the air thick enough to lean on, the gnats out, the shade under a water oak worth more than money. Oasis Services works right through it, because a Valdosta lawn in high summer is growing at its hardest and cannot be left alone for three weeks. Mowing, edging, trimming and clearing away what the heat and the storms drop: the list is short, the conditions are not. There is a real pleasure in stepping back from a finished yard at midday, sweat-soaked, and seeing something cool and even and green where a rough patch used to be. A well-kept lawn is its own bit of relief, and that is worth the walk in the heat.
