April along Chimney Creek is all motion — the tide sliding in under the docks, fiddler crabs working the bank, and the grass finally waking after a short coastal winter. Little Creek Landscaping, LLC starts its season on those back-river streets, mowing and edging the narrow lots that sit between the road and the water. Trimming does most of the fine work here, around pilings, crab traps and the little bulkheads that hold the yards in place. Bed cleanups and fresh mulch follow once the mowing route settles into rhythm. There's a quiet reward in leaving a creek-side yard trim and open, with the whole marsh visible from the back steps.
