On October evenings the fog comes up off the valley floor around Trenton and pools between the mountains until the interstate lights float in it. Trenton Lawn Care works right up to that hour when the season demands it, mowing, edging and trimming yards from town out toward Rising Fawn and Wildwood. A last cut of the year done well matters more than most — the height set right, the edges cut clean, the leaves carried off instead of left to smother the grass. Through the growing months it is the same simple loyalty: show up, cut it even, finish the corners, blow the drive. The result is a yard that looks tended every week of the year, not just the week somebody noticed.
