About Greater Landscapes

Up the mountain from Trenton, Cloudland Canyon opens where Daniel Creek and Bear Creek cut down through the rock, and the whole county feels a little greener for having it. Greater Landscapes works the lawns below, mowing, trimming and edging so a property holds a shape as clear as those canyon rims. Late spring in Dade County is all growth — grass, briars, everything reaching at once — and a steady schedule is the only thing that keeps up with it. There is craft in the edge: a clean line where turf meets pavement is the difference between mowed and finished. Once the leaves start down off the mountain, they get cleared away and the yard is put in order for the cold stretch.
