About Wallace & Son

Out past Thomson stands the Rock House, fieldstone walls raised in 1785 and standing yet — proof that around here a thing lasts when somebody keeps after it. Wallace & Son works in that spirit on a smaller scale: lawns mowed on time, edges cut clean, trimming done close, clippings blown off the concrete before anyone leaves. Two sets of hands make short work of a yard, and the second pair notices what the first one walked straight past. Spring through fall the schedule holds, and when the leaves come down they come right back off again. Thomson, Dearing, Harlem and the McDuffie County roads between.
