Johnson's lawn service

About Johnson's lawn service

Thomson keeps a foot in horse country; the Belle Meade Hunt rides the fields and fencelines outside town, and the land opens into pasture as soon as the houses thin. Johnson's lawn service works the mown side of that landscape — regular cutting, edging, trimming and cleanup on lawns from the middle of town out to where the pavement gives way to clay. October is the good stretch, cool enough to work straight through, the grass slowing but not stopped, the light coming in long and gold across a fresh-cut yard. A lawn kept on a rhythm never looks rescued; it simply looks right, week after week. Thomson, Dearing, Appling and the roads nearby.
