Thomaston grew up around its mills, and the old brick still stands over streets that were laid out to match shift changes. In March the town greens the way it always has — bermuda breaking dormancy from the ground up, weeds jumping the gun, every lawn needing its first cut at once. Thomaston Lawn Care Co takes the season from that first mow forward: weekly cutting, edging along walks and curbs, trimming, spring cleanups and fresh mulch worked into the beds. There is one day each year when a yard goes from patchy to uniform, and getting a place to that day early is the whole ambition.
