About A&W Lawn Services And Landscaping

In the old mill blocks of Silvertown the houses sit shoulder to shoulder, and every yard is a small rectangle with something to prove. A&W Lawn Services And Landscaping works those short lots the way you'd work a page — mowing in clean passes, trimming tight to the porch piers and the fence lines, then blowing the trimmings off the sidewalk until it looks swept. The landscaping side means beds that hold their shape against Upson County's red clay: mulch pulled back off the trunks, shrubs shaped so light can get underneath. Late in the day the pines throw long stripes across the grass and the cut shows up inside them, one direction and then the other. It's a plain sort of pride, and it holds until the next week's growth.
