About North Georgia Lawn

Get up on high ground north of town in October and you can watch the foothills go gold in the direction of Lake Lanier, ridge behind ridge, the air finally dry enough to work in all day. North Georgia Lawn belongs to that country. Autumn is the busy end — leaf cleanup on repeat, core aeration to open soil that summer compacted, overseeding so the yard has something green to carry into a mild winter. The rest of the year is mowing, edging and trimming on a dependable rotation, with mulch laid where the beds need it. Grass grows nearly nine months here; keeping up with it is the whole art, and a lawn cut level under October light is the reward.
