About Fields of Green Inc.

Saturday in Sugar Hill has its own soundtrack: ball fields busy near Gary Pirkle Park in the morning, mowers running up and down the subdivisions by ten. Fields of Green Inc. spends those hours the way the name suggests — cutting, edging and trimming residential lawns until each one sits square inside its own lines. Grass grows unevenly here, faster in the open sun of a new-built front yard than under the pines out back, so the crew reads each property rather than treating them all alike. The best part of the job is the walk-away look: clippings cleared, borders sharp along the mailbox and the drive, nothing left to sweep. In a town this proud of its parks, a well-kept yard feels like part of the same idea.
