About Steve's Lawn & Landscape Services

November on Savannah Avenue falls as a slow yellow rain — pecan leaves first, then hickory, then the pines letting go of their straw all at once. Steve's Lawn & Landscape Services takes the fall exactly as it comes: leaf and pine straw removal, beds cleaned out, shrubs cut back, the last mowings of the year taken low, walks and drives swept and blown clean. The big shade yards around Statesboro ask for patience, because a good wind will hand a lawn back its leaves twice before the job is finished. There is a real satisfaction at the end of a day like that — bare turf, clear walk, the whole yard opened up to the low winter light. The work covers Statesboro and the nearby towns of Brooklet, Portal and Stilson.
