Sterling's Lawn and Maintenance

About Sterling's Lawn and Maintenance

Come back every week and the yard tells you what it needs. That is the whole trade at Sterling's Lawn and Maintenance: the steady return, mowing and string trimming, edges cut along walk and drive, hedges kept back off the windows, leaves and limbs cleared, the concrete blown down last. Evenings stretch out long in this part of Georgia — the light going low over cotton and tobacco ground on the Register and Brooklet roads, dust hanging behind a truck all the way to the turn. A route learned that well starts to feel less like a list and more like a neighborhood, one mailbox at a time. Statesboro, Register, Brooklet and Nevils, week after week.
