Spencer Grounds Care

About Spencer Grounds Care

Come October, the fields around Spence go white and harvest dust hangs in the light down every farm road. Spencer Grounds Care keeps yards through that turn of the year — the last strong cuts of the season, borders held tight, needle and leaf drop cleared off lawns and walks. Evenings finally let go of the heat, and the grass slides into its brown season, which is its own kind of tidy when it is kept even. Longleaf pines mark the field lines out this way, and pine straw finds every yard beneath them. Cleared off week by week, a place stays crisp right on through the cool months.
