April turns Social Circle loose — dogwoods opening white along the side streets, azaleas going off all at once, pollen on every windshield in Walton County. Howell Landscaping of GA, Inc. works through that bloom: mowing, edging, trimming shrubs back into shape and mulching beds so the color has a frame. Spring here is generous and a little chaotic, and shaping it takes judgment as much as effort. A front yard cut clean under a blooming dogwood is about as good as this town looks. The rest of the year is spent keeping that promise.
