About Smithville

Smithville the business shares a name with Smithville the town, a small Lee County rail town in southwest Georgia, tracks running straight through and farmland starting just past the last street. This lawn care outfit works the yards in between, cutting and trimming so the houses on those few blocks stay neat and green. Winter is brief and mild down here, and by late February the lawns are already stirring under a softening sky. That first warm week calls for the first cut, and a clean one sets the tone for the whole growing season ahead. There is something fitting about the yard work here carrying the town's own name.
